Reuben & Akari 2

Chapter One

Akari was sitting at her kitchen table with a large cup of coffee as she contemplated what could be going on with her son Derwin. He was acting strange lately but she didn’t know what to do. He was a teenager now, if he was younger, even her daughters age she might demand he tell her but she remembered being a teen. Akari knew it was important to them they felt like adults and he certainly deserved his privacy. He had always been such a good kid. She never got called to school, he never stayed out past curfew, he hadn’t raised his voice to her since he was a toddler or anything of the sort. She loved being a parent and normally felt it was easy now that her kids were so grown but moments like these it felt impossible to decide what to do. read more

Amara and Aurora

~ Originally created by Breanna Vincent ~

Chapter One

She knew she couldn’t avoid it anymore, it was time for the first day of her freshman year at high school. They say everything changes once you’re in high school, even the people. Amara crossed her fingers that this would be a move in the positive. She had already conquered what she felt to be the hardest thing she has ever done in her life, what could be worse? Since she came out to her parents everything had changed. Her mom tries too hard to be there for her but it was better than her rejection. As soon as Amara told her she started researching about support groups and calling around for places Amara could go to meet others like her. Although annoying, she was grateful her mother still loved her and didn’t look at her in shame. Her father wasn’t so cheery about the idea that his precious little angel would never marry and have children. He made less eye contact that usual and always acted a bit nervous. Amara told herself it would just take time for him to adjust. Although she didn’t admit it, it hurt her feelings to see him act that way. She was still the same little girl that she was five minutes before she told them, just more honest. All in all it went well telling her family and close friends but she was still nervous of how she was going to be treated at school. Seeing as how she had gotten the hardest part out of the way she wasn’t going to stay in the closet for school. She felt as if she might as well go all the way and just be open about the way she felt. She was gay and was proud of it even though her pride faltered every now and then when she got weird looks. Amara promised herself that no matter what she would keep her head up on her first day of high school, after all, this was a huge deal. read more

Dylan & Eleanor

Chapter One

Dylan kissed his mom on the cheek just before he opened the door to get out of the car. She dropped him off at school every morning after she dropped his younger brother Owen at the elementary school. He was glad, when he heard bus stories he was glad he wasn’t stuck on it every day. His mom, Catalina, even normally let him listen to what he wanted on the radio. His brother didn’t much care so he didn’t even have to worry about Owen wanting a turn. He paused when his fox ears picked up the shrill voice of Amanda Duren and a few of the other girls. He normally didn’t care what they did, they were a bunch of rich spoiled brats who were in the popular crowd with him but he liked to act as if they didn’t exist. Sometimes if only to bring Amanda down a few pegs. read more

Bettina & Basile

Chapter One

Bettina was walking to class when she saw one of the seniors shove that same Sophmore into the lockers. She stomped over, unafraid of what might happen to her. In her mind the people that just walked by and never helped this kid were just as bad as the bullys themselves. She thought even less of the teachers that never bothered to step in. “Leave him alone!” She said in a demanding tone to the boys. “This is none of your business bitch, get to class” read more

Sharon & Alke

Chapter One

Sharon needed rest from dancing with her friends so she grabbed a cup of punch then leaned against the decorated wall of their gym. She smiled and slightly shook her head at the goofy way a few of her friends were dancing. Despite Sharon being the most popular girl in school her close friends were a bunch of nerds. She preferred them to the preppy, snotty girls most people thought she ought to hangout with. She had few male friends but that was largely in part that she couldn’t respect them. Sharon was a female wolf among all humans and she missed her pack. When she was fourteen her father challenged the alpha of their pack and lost so they couldn’t remain members any longer. She had to leave her boyfriend which hurt deeply for the first year but she had long since gotten over him. Sharon still thought of Jespin from time to time but the pain that once came with memories of him were gone. As her mother often told her when they first had to leave she had only been dating Jespin a few months anyhow. Sharon wished there was anyway to rejoin their old pack but was never angry at her father. Christopher challenging their leader was precisely what she adored and missed about wolf males. She loved how tough and headstrong they were. Most of all she loved how they always went for what they wanted no matter how hard it was to achieve. She found their traits sexy while these human men she was now surrounded by fell short. read more

Lillie & Cory

Chapter One

Lillie sat in the bleachers, glancing up then back down at the piece of paper she drew on. She loved drawing objects that were in motion, it always presented a challenge and the football team was the perfect subject. Their quarterback, Cory Lance, had noticed her a few times. She would catch him looking up at her any time the team took a break and she did her best not to notice. He hadn’t said anything to the others or pointed her out to the coach so she took it as a sign that he wasn’t bothered by her. She closed her notebook when she heard footsteps and got to her feet, keeping her head down as she started down the steps. She smelled perfume and glanced at the three girls, teenagers like her, but older. They were in the same grade as Cory and often came up here to watch the boys practice. She walked down the steps, sighing as her feet hit the bottom. She walked along the track, the slight breeze tugging at her hair so she had to keep moving it to the side to keep it out of her face. The sound of fast moving footsteps coming up behind her startled her and she looked over her shoulder to see Cory coming her way. read more

James & Ashton 4

Chapter One

Ashton walked through the woods, enjoying the sunshine and the smell of damp earth. He was excited to be out camping with James, Andrew, Fleur, Katty, Adelyn, Enola, and even Dimitri. He had been wanting to come out so bad and he had finally burst with the need to tell James and it just rushed out of his mouth before he could stop the words from coming out. James had laughed after being startled by his sudden outburst and said it was a good idea since Andrew would be turning eighteen soon. He raised his arms up to the sky, stretching as if he could hug the world around him. He loved being out in nature and was glad to be sharing it with the people he cared about. read more
