“Are you sure you have to go alone?” Gaspare asked as Iom shouldered his pack.

Macon & Alosa

Chapter One

Alosa stared at the camera that watched her, lost in thought again about where she could be and why. She had been abducted precisely one hundred and eighty days ago, six months to the day she had been in here and in that time not a soul had come to her besides a robot that would bring her food, other necessities and the occasional book to read. She couldn’t even remember her kidnapping. One second she was hanging up her phone and the next she woke up in this beautiful cell. As far as prisoners went she was living a pampered life but it killed her not to know why and it caused her to yell again “who kidnaps someone and never comes to them or even talks to them! Please, just let me go or at least come talk to me and tell me why. I just want to know why!” read more

Distorted Time

Original Concept by Breanna Toutloff, co written by Breanna Toutloff

She scratched fervently and clawed painfully at the old wooden wall, trying desperately to find any way to break through. Her once beautiful face was stiff from the blood and tears that stained it. Her eye swollen shut from the blow she had received. She screamed as loudly as she could, it was mixed with fear and desperation. The festering wound on her leg was steadily getting worse, she feared an infection was rotting away the flesh that surrounded it. Her manicured fingernails we ripped open and broken, bleeding, from scratching at the aging wood, trying to escape and find the freedom that she so desperately craved. The stench from the piss and vomit swallowed her and it was all she could smell. She feared the only other person with her wasn’t even alive anymore. The stranger stopped moving hours ago and she didn’t know if he slept or was decomposing right next to her. Her throat hoarse from the cries and constant screaming. She wanted to give up, no one could hear here but her fight or flight told her she needed to escape before he came back, whoever he was. This monster that had taken her from her perfect life. She hadn’t even seen his face, he kept it hidden behind a grotesque filthy mask. He never spoke but his breathing was heavy as he struggled to tie her down. She prayed he wouldn’t rape her and take away her innocence but why else would he have left her alive? She couldn’t give up, she had to keep trying.
“Somebody! Pleeeaasseee help me!” she screamed, not expecting anyone to respond. read more

Maksym & Poppi

Chapter One

Maksym was almost to his brothers mansion so he decided just to relax a bit. It was time to check on him again and make sure he wasn’t doing anything he shouldn’t to anybody or to the land around him but he was tired and he wasn’t quite sure he was mentally ready yet to deal with whatever crap Lakopa was doing now. Lakopa was older by about twenty years and just like him, he looked a lot like their mother. However, he was more like their father in attitude. Maksym knew his parents never had much more than a sexual relationship but still, he wasn’t sure how his dad even ever got his mother in bed with him. He didn’t think on this too long, instead he just enjoyed how beautiful it was in this area. read more

Carter & Joy 3

Chapter One

Carter’s eyes snapped open, his entire body stiffening, his arms tightening protectively around Joy as he listened. There had been no noise, not really, it was a feeling, a change in the air of the house. Someone was in his home, the home he shared with beautiful Joy. He moved slowly, sliding out of bed and taking only a moment to pull the covers up to Joy’s chin before reaching under the bed and wrapping his fingers around his gun. He cocked his head, hearing breathing and he moved on bare feet to stand next to the door. It opened and he reacted, his hand grabbing the intruder and slamming them against the wall his gun pressing under their chin. The sound woke Joy and she shot up, her hands fumbling with the lamp next to her. Carter’s raged filled eyes were suddenly tinted with confusion. read more

Lily & Maruo

Chapter One

Lily took off in a full sprint, trying to get to her car before this maniac caught up to her. Her heart was pounding as she jumped inside. She could hear him cursing angrily at her. The scariest part of this entire situation was that he had gotten this angry because she wouldn’t give him her number. It was such a stupid reason and it made him that much scarier when he got pissed about it. She had nearly screamed when she realized he had started to follow her after she started trying to leave. She didn’t understand why nobody she had passed cared that she was being followed. “some world we live in” she said and sped all the way home. read more

It was the sound of the glass skylight breaking that drew her eyes up. He landed on the stage next to her, those watching her had jumped up and he watched shocked from the front row. read more

Lyric and Shadow

~ Originally created by Breanna Vincent ~

Chapter One

I closed my eyes, feeling the morning dew on my face. I raised my arms above my head, caressing the soft silky petals of the lily I was nesting in. It was such a beautiful day. I stretched out my gossamer wings as far as I could, inching them to the sky with every breath. They had grown recently, I was so excited! I couldn’t wait to show Shadow when he returned from this voyage. He had flown with Papa to gather food for the families. Oh how I loved spring, it was my favorite season. Full of new life and promises of glorious adventures. I wonder what we will get into this summer, Shadow and I always had at least one momentous exploration. They held tales of danger and excitement, it’s a miracle we didn’t get into more trouble than we do. Papa always scolded us for going so close to the humans. Silly Papa, they weren’t all forceful and savages. Some of them were delicate and gentle like us. I didn’t fear them as I should but stood in awe whenever I thought of them. They were such magnificent creatures but rarely ever used their powers. I wondered why. I pushed off of my lily and sprung into the air, as light as a feather. The light hum of my wings started the day of with a wonderful tune. Every day was music to my ears. read more

Nigel & Vina 5

Chapter One

Cadoc hugged his mother goodbye and kissed her on the cheek before walking out of their home and out. There was another game set up for today and he felt lucky. He knew this was going to be the day he won big again and he could repay all his debts and have more to gamble with. Not to mention his sisters birthday was coming and he wanted to put something together for her if he could get out of the red. “Bye baby” baby, it was still odd hearing her call them that. She had just started a few days ago. Her normal endearment was Bye sweet one or simply bye Cadoc but he didn’t think too much of it. He didn’t think too much of anything lately besides gambling. It’s all he wanted to do day and night and he would probably be home a lot less if his father didn’t insist he check in. read more

Chapter One

She felt cold, her entire body shook, waking her. She blinked awake, her eyes resting on the open door that let snow swirl in and around her. What was happening? Where was she?
