Aurelia & Rees

Chapter One

She hobbled as she ran but she went as fast as she could away from her attackers. As far as she knew she had killed them but she couldn’t be sure enough not to run. Two human men had tried to rape her, probably thinking she was a human woman since only her ears would give away she was an elf. It had still been difficult to get away, they had been so crazed and hungry to take her. She wondered while she ran if they had been on some type of drugs. Thunder crashed and rain poured, making it hard to know where she was going but she kept on until she saw a castle. She ran to the door, desperate for help. read more

Elowen & Birch

Chapter One

Mei smiled back at little Tod as he buckled up in her backseat then drove away from the school “How was your day?”

“Great! Is mommy home yet?”

“Just two more nights” He just continued to smile as he began to look out the window so she put in one of his CD’s and put her attention back on the road. Mei was his live in nanny, had been since he was four and it was the best job she had ever taken. Tod was the sweetest boy anybody could ask for and his mother paid her far more than any other live in nannies she knew, especially when she took business trips. She had grown so fond of Tod over the past five years she’d probably even watch him for free at this point. She loved him like he was her own. The nice room, comfortable life and amazing income were just perks now. read more

Chapter One

I’m excited, exhilarated even as I run to see my father, the king that will soon step down as I am wed in a few days. I’m ready to run into his arms and tell him all about how wonderful my day was when I’m stopped in my tracks, a gasp caught in my throat so my mouth is just gaping open at the horror before me. He lays dead, his guards all around him. I run, in absolute disbelief he is truly laying lifeless on the floor. I shake him “father! father please talk to me” He’s cold, his skin no longer warm and pink but pale. There’s so much blood on the floor and within me I know he has passed on. This was the day my world fell apart. There was no time for weddings or any type of happiness. Whomever had done this had declared war and my mother, bless her misguided soul was fast to blame a kingdom we had been having some disputes with. They denied her claim but she wouldn’t believe them so now, even years later we are stuck in a war that may or may not even be against the right people. read more

“Please Mr Koopmann” The young man fell down to his knees “Please teach me. I have no father and you are my idol sir. I want to be an assassin “I only teach my children. Maybe if I hadn’t retired but I retired for a reason. I worked many years, I spent so many days and nights away from my Belle and our children. My life is now completely devoted to them. I will not use my time with family on you no matter how you beg or how much you pay. Go home or maybe take some lessons from my son ZJ. He teaches a class” read more

Halcyon & Fane

Chapter One

Fane gripped tightly to his covers as he tossed and turned, his muscles tense as the nightmare filled his head, the rememberance of pain, the taunting voice and the innocent, horror filled eyes. He screamed, his eyes snapping open, his heart nearly beating out of his chest. He moved onto his side, curling into a ball and crying. His stomach rolled, but he told himself he would not throw up this time. Even as the thought entered his head he was running to the bathroom of his little studio apartment, his stomach emptying itself as he leaned over the toilet bowl. He puked until there was nothing left and even then all he could do was dry heave and cry. He felt so weak, but he couldn’t help the feeling of shame he was always left with. read more

Inside Out

~ Created with Breanna Vincent

Chapter One

The air was cold and crisp and the wind whipped across my cheeks. The cold air always helped to clear my head, to rid my mind of the thoughts that drove me to madness. Images flashed through my mind, tempting me into action. It had been three months since my last relapse. I could still feel the satisfaction as I gave in to my demons, and the remorse that plagued me after it was over. If only there was help for people like me, the dark and twisted of humanity.
I could see her, laying there, waiting for me. The look in her eyes begging for me to join her. Her body was so hot under my hands. Her moans in my ear as I explored every inch of her breasts. It was so different from the look she held in her eyes once I was finished, cold and staring off into nothingness. I wished she would look at me again as she did before, but as my hands closed around her throat, and her body writhed underneath me as I began to climax, I knew she would never look at anyone that way again. He body fell limp under mine as I finished and her muffled screams halted as she drew her last breaths.
I shook my head, nostalgia would only make it harder to control. My head snapped up as I saw someone approaching. There were always runners in this neighborhood, beautiful women pushing themselves for perfection. I turned to lock myself away behind closed walls. Maybe I should move. read more

Darryl & Garret

Darryl looked down at the young man seated in the cushioned chair, his wide green eyes, the splatter of blood staining his shirt and jeans. He looked traumatized, pale like he had see a ghost. Ghislain & Scipio 2

Chapter One

Scipio was reading the news online when he saw it again, savage attacks on people vacationing in Ireland. As much as he wanted to ignore it he opened the most recent article and yet again it looked like something one of his species would do. He knew most Dobhar-chu’s were highly aggressive. They didn’t even have to be provoked they just had a foul temperament and would attack because it felt like it. Dobhar-chu’s killed without any remorse and most he had known were complete sociopaths. He didn’t know how he had become so normal, especially considering his parents were just as savage as most of their kind was. He had left Ireland when he did because he was nothing like his family and wanted to break away from them but now, now they seemed to be more vicious than ever and he couldn’t turn a blind eye. read more

Tierney & Bradan

Chapter One

Tierney hadn’t realized how late he had stayed over at his friends Colts house until it was too late and he had been having so much fun he only realized it when his girlfriend made the joke “look who actually stayed until after dark. Grandpa is actually acting his age” He looked at Colts window in horror. It was dark out, pitch dark. He had to lose track of time at Colts house, the one friends house he couldn’t sleep at. His girlfriend Breanna was controlling, probably one of the most controlling girlfriends he had ever seen and he wasn’t sure why Colt put up with it. In any case she strictly forbid anybody sleeping over. They could stay late but four am was the cut off and you had to go home. read more
